For enrolled families

Welcome, current families

First-day checklist, what to pack, the handbook, the calendar, and how to reach us. Worth bookmarking.

First-day checklist

Everything to do before the big morning.

What to pack

A simple daily bag, labeled and ready.

Handbook & forms

Policies, forms, and the school calendar.

Before the first day

Getting ready together

A little preparation makes the first mornings calmer, mostly for you.

Complete your enrollment forms Emergency contacts, health history, and authorized pick-up list.
Turn in immunization records [Confirm your state/licensing requirement here.]
Label everything Bag, jacket, water bottle, spare clothes. Everything.
Practice goodbyes Short, warm, confident, and then actually leave. Lingering makes it worse and every parent tries it once.
Come to orientation [Add your orientation / meet-the-teacher date.]
Add a first-day photo — a child waving at the classroom door

What to pack

The daily bag

Labeled, and simpler than you think.

A change of clothes

A full set. Paint, water table, accidents.

Water & lunch

A labeled bottle; lunch only if your child stays past noon.

A comfort item

Especially in the twos. A small lovey helps more than it should.

Weather-ready layers

We go outside every day, in most weather.

Please leave toys and snacks with nuts at home. Questions about allergies? See our health & safety page.

Add a drop-off photo — a parent walking a child to the door

Daily rhythm

Drop-off & pick-up

A calm arrival sets the tone for the whole morning, so we keep it the same every day.

Morning drop-off Pull into the [drop-off area], walk your child in, and sign in at the classroom door.
Pick-up runs [12:15–12:30pm] [Note extended-care pick-up if different.]
Authorized adults only Only people on your list, ID checked until staff know you.
Running late? [Add the number to call so we can meet you.]
